"A horse is worth more than riches."  Spanish Proverb

Links

http://www.hoofcareunltd,com  " We accept horses with founder and navicular diagnosis as well as those with contracted hooves and various "mysterious" lamenesses."

www.balanceinternational.com  This is the site that explains why 99% of all saddles made don't fit.  The balance saddle is probably the widest of any you've ever seen but there's more to it than just being wide enough for your horses withers to function and his shoulder to move and this is where you can find out what that is.

www.connectedriding.com  Peggy Cummings has gotten together with Carol Brett of Balance International and they have pooled their knowledge.  I've done a clinic with Peggy and would like to do more.  She has what it takes to be a great riding instructor: knowledge of the body, patience and a keen eye.

www.aboutthehorse.com  For a western saddle recommended by Peggy Cummings, visit this site.

http://www.naturalhorsetrim.com  This is one of the earliest sites out there with many pictures of foundered hooves and a great deal of advice.  The page selling used and new boots is very valuable as well as the page explaining how to measure your horses hooves for boots.

http://www.shady-acres.com/susan/index.shtml  This site,  by Susan Garlinghouse, DVM,  who has done her homework on feeds and nutrition, looks at this subject from the perspective of someone intending to do endurance riding but the information is good for anyone.

www.parelli.com  This is the site of Pat & Linda Parelli.  While many people have come before Pat with as much if not more 'savy' and many of his colleagues are as competent, his particular genius has been in putting together a structured program with a harmonious  flow that can take someone whose never been around a horse and give them the tools to be as 'handy' with a horse as someone whose been around them his whole life.

www.everglo-naturalvet.com/research_cat.htm  This is a vet doing homeopathy.

www.efa-3.com/   This site has some interesting information on Omega 3 though I haven't tried their product.

www.horsescience.com  This place has great training aids for hoof and leg anatomy.

www.sensemethod.com  An interesting site devoted to the study of motion between horse and rider and helping the rider tune his/her body to have greater harmony with the movement of the horse.  And much more.

www.bitlessbridle.com  This is the site of Veterinarian Surgeon Robert Cook who has done years of research on race horses and concluded bits are damaging to a horse in many ways.

www.thehorseshoof.com This site has a listing of all Strasser certified people in the world.  Also tools, books, articles, schedules of seminars, etc.

www.strasserhoofcare.com  This is Dr. Strasser's official, North American site.
